What Killed the Electric Car?

What I think killed the electric car is gas well owners and oil distributors because they were not getting as much money as they were before the electric car. They probably begged General Motors Company to take down the electric car and so they felt they should do so and they did. The good thing about electric cars is they emit no carbon dioxide witch means less global warming and pollution and you could just plug it in your garage so you wouldn't have to pay for gas money. I wish the electric car would come back from its fate.
