Look Who Is Reading!
Jacinta has been studying the flash cards for Hooked On Phonics Level 1. She just graduated to the big yellow level 1 book and read her first word--then her first sentence--then her first story today! Yay!! She is very happy with herself. I am thrilled as well! This is always an exciting milestone.
I visited the HOP website and it looks like Hooked on Phonics has changed over the years. I'll stick with the version I bought ten years ago. I've used it to teach my four boys to read and now it needs to remain intact for at least three more kids!
