Justin traveled to Austin to visit a friend last week and ended up trying Chicken Satay at a Thai restaurant. We tried our hand at making it this weekend. We used this recipe. I made two batches of the marinade--one to marinade the chicken in and one for the sauce. The chicken satay got good reviews but that second batch of sauce left a lot to be desired. (It's a great marinade but not so great as a sauce.) So Justin winged it and made a nice sauce that we all enjoyed. Once we iron out the kinks and make some adjustments I'll post the sauce recipe here.
